Remove Invasives Partnership (RIP) of Franklin County is a community action group working to protect our scenic native landscape by removing invasive pest plants and educating and inspiring the public to take action. RIP offers local, seasonal volunteer opportunities called “Work Parties” where community members can come learn about these invasive species and how to remove them.

RIP actively partners with local entities like Frankfort Parks Department, Kentucky State University’s forestry program, The Garden Club of Frankfort, Woods & Waters Land Trust, Envision Frankfort, Franklin County Extension, Frankfort Urban Forestry Advisory Board, South Frankfort Neighborhood Association, Earth Tools, Inc., Inside Out Design, Frankfort Audubon Society and others to further their impact.
